Free Blackjack Strategy
At Casino Focus we believe that to be a successful and winning player at blackjack you should learn basic blackjack strategy. You should start learning by referring to a basic strategy chart, like the one below. The chart shows you how to play your first two cards based on the dealers (one) up card.
Because the chart only deals with your first two cards, you will also need to understand what to do if you need to hit.The easy way to do this is to add up your three or more cards and refer to the charts for your total. For example:
If your first two cards are a 4 and a 3 you have a total of seven. The basic strategy chart tells you to hit.
You hit a 4, which gives you a total of 11. The strategy chart tells you to double on 11, but most casinos only allow you to double on your first two cards. In this instance you must hit.
